I’ve come across some cool plugins that clash with the WYSIWYG editor, and thus they require you to disable it or they won’t work. I had some trouble finding out how to do it, but I eventually found it.

It’s pretty simple actually, if you know where to find it…

  • Click your name in the upper right hand corner of the administrator interface.
  • Under the first section called Personal Options there is a checkbox labeled Visual Editor. Make sure it’s checked.
  • Click Update Settings at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
